Introduction:

There are only few places in the world that divers always talk about. If not mentioned in the first place, the Red Sea is definitely among the first three places.
And there are obvious reasons for it: a huge variety of all coloured fishes, very clear and deep blue water, wracks, an all-year-guarantee, and infinite reefs along the coast. Fishes are very similar to those found in the Indian Ocean, but some species are only found in the Red Sea. Especially the Gulf of Aqaba is so deep (1.830 m) that with the reflection of the desert light it shows a blue colour that can hardly be seen in other places.

Diving in Nuweiba:

Underwater activities are the main attraction in Nuweiba. The Shallow reefs spots create interesting locations for snorkeling, while diving from the shore is another unique experience for everybody, and in Nuweiba area, we dive from shore. The sites here usually begin from the beach on a sandy slope, and progress onto coral gardens, reef walls or barrier reefs. Many dives feature stunning drop offs, ravines, chimneys and canyons. The seas here are generally calm and without strong current, making Nuweiba an excellent place to learn to dive. As Nuweiba is still a relaxed and small Town, we often find ourselves the only divers at a dive site, offering us a truly peaceful and undisturbed dive, over pristine corals. Indeed, renowned diving photographer, Martin Edge, said of Nuweiba, "The best night dive ever"," as he photographed Spanish Dancers galore. It's really good for snorkeling, too.

Nuweiba Diving Safari

The advantages of going on a diving safari are endless. You can dive before breakfast, after dinner or anytime in between. You can dive the usually crowded sites before anyone else has had the chance to scare the sharks away. In fact, you have the opportunity to dive the sites the day boats didn't even reach at all.

If you are a photographer, than a diving safari provides you with the ultimate opportunity to take spectacular photos, morning, day or night. You never know if you might catch a dolphin at sunset or an oceanic white tip crossing the channel.   If that's not enough to persuade you, then imagine the fun you'll have being out at sea for a week with your favorite diving buddies or the adventure of getting to know a bunch of people you've never seen before in your life (and may not want to again, but that's up to you).
It must be said that most people choose to travel by camel. If you don't have the time though (or aren't keen on the camels), the Jeep Diving Safaris are nearly as much fun!
